Table Orders in Orgnyz let you manage dine‑in orders easily from one screen. You can see all your tables, check available seats, start new orders, add items, send them to the kitchen, and collect payment when the customer is done.

Table Orders Overview

On the Table Orders screen, you’ll see a list of all tables, grouped by zones like Indoor and Outdoor. Each table shows the seating capacity and a Start Table button.

Starting a Table

Click Start Table to begin a new order. A modal will open where you can optionally add customer details.

  • Add New: Enter the customer’s name, phone number, and address.

  • Select Existing: Choose a customer from the dropdown list. Once you submit, the table becomes active and shows the number of guests and running bill.

Table Order Screen

Clicking on an active table opens the order screen. Here you’ll see:

  • Left panel: Menu categories like Starters, Main Course, Beverages

  • Center: Menu items

  • Right side: Cart with selected items and total bill You can also switch to a different table using the dropdown on the top.

  • Quick Table Selector: Quickly jump to any table from the dropdown without scrolling.

  • Search Bar: Use the search field to find items instantly and add them to the order.

Adding Items

Click any item to add it to the cart. If an item has multiple sizes or add‑ons, a modal will open where you can:

  • Select the size (Regular, Large, etc.)

  • Add extras or toppings

  • Write a note if the customer has a special request Submit to add it to the order.

Cart and Checkout

When a table is started, a Cart appears on the right side of the screen.

Cart Header

At the top, you’ll see the Table Number with the word Items (for example: I-1 Items). On the right side, there is a Delete icon that clears all items from the cart in one click.

Cart Item List

Each item in the cart has:

  • Item Name (clickable to add a note for that specific item, e.g., Make it less spicy).

  • Quantity (editable box to increase or decrease items).

  • Price (shown for each line item).

  • Trash icon to remove that single item.

Add Note for Entire Table

Below the items, you will see an Add Note link. This lets you add a note for the whole table, for example: Serve everything together.

Bill Summary

At the bottom of the cart:

  • Total Bill (Excluding Tax): Shows the subtotal amount before tax is applied.

Action Buttons

You’ll see three main buttons:

  • Save and KOT: Prints a Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) so the kitchen knows what to prepare.

  • Print Bill: Prints a draft bill to share with the customer before payment.

  • Checkout: Finalizes the order, moves to payment, and confirms the bill.

Closing a Table Without an Order

If the cart has no items, instead of Checkout you will see a Close Table button. Use this if:

  • The customer leaves without ordering.

  • You want to free up the table without adding items.

To make this appear, delete all items from the cart.

Marking a Table Ready for the Next Order

After checkout is completed, the table is automatically marked as vacant and becomes ready to take the next order. You will see it appear as free on the Table Orders screen.
